Mmm nice date today, 09-03-09, and a slightly more eventful day, and plenty to talk/complain about, so your C-rep blogs again=)

Yes, I made it to school on time today! Tsk tsk all of you were so shocked that I was 4th from the left during flag raising eh? MUHAHAHA XD And to be honest I was shocked as well, there was no jam at Farrer Road, if there was I would definitely be late... Hmm I recall my 1st commment when I saw there was no jam: "Today Tuesday meh?" =P

GP not much to say la eh? Essay again... Hope we all do well for Block Test! I mean, Mr Wong has really been working very hard for us, we should try our best not to disappoint him... He's one of the few tutors in my whole life that gives me the feeling that I should work harder to improve! What a good tutor=) And speaking of GP tutors, I saw a certain ****** teaching today! Oops oops lemmeoffermydeepestcondolencesIpitythatclassalot hehhehheh... Ok I should apologize for that, I know ****** offended a lot of us but sigh, let bygones be bygones... so long our PW grade is A la=)

Maths lecture was boring! More or less because Fourier is what KZW and I have been doing for so many weeks during our holidays for MRP... And we're really sick of integration by parts. Or at least, me la, cos I calculated out the following by myself, using only a lot of paper and a desktop calculator:

Letting f(x) denote summation of n to the power of -x where n runs from 1 to infinity (integer values that is), we have...

f(2) = (1/6)pi^2
f(4) = (1/90)pi^4
f(6) = (1/945)pi^6
f(8) = (1/9450)pi^8
f(10) = (1/93555)pi^10
f(12) = (691/638512875)pi^12
f(14) = (2/18243225)pi^14
f(16) = (3617/325641566250)pi^16
f(18) = (43867/38979295480125)pi^18
f(20) = (174611/1531329465290625)pi^20
f(22) = (155366/13447856940643125)pi^22
f(24) = (236364091/201919571963756521875)pi^24
f(26) = (1315862/11094481976030578125)pi^26
f(28) = (6785560294/564653660170076273671875)pi^28

TA-DA! All my blood and sweat=)

Oh yes, I must not miss out the most important point of this post. (Sorry for the sudden change in tone) I don't quite care if I get demerit points for flaming lecturers here, but I MUST say that today's physics lecture is a TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!!!

Just think: It's the last physics lecture before block test. The physics department has been complaining about how many students are weak in their concepts. I step into the LT, expecting at least a review of past lectures' work, if not another lecture on electric fields.

AND YET, some IDIOT by the name of R_ _ _ _ _ Q_ _ _ decided to waste this valuable 1 hour and show us a video instead! On resonance, I heard? But it's 5 mins of resonance and 55 mins of irrelevant stuff isn't it?

So, when the BT1 results come out, physics department, please DO NOT complain about how students "cannot grasp their concepts properly", and if you have to, please make sure you all know WHO should be the 1 that is partially, if not largely, responsible.

Because a certain SHIT of a lecturer wastes our time with all kinds of silly scams like lighting a light bulb with your hair just by rubbing it (you still DARE to say a student actually cried in front of you because she believed it but found that there's no such thing?) and confuses our already messed-up concepts...

And, worse still, it is SOLELY thanks to all the extra time gained from rushing through important concepts instead of using this time to teach us more thoroughly that we get all this rubbish in lectures.

Also, I would like to highlight that my parents did not pay my school fees to let teachers READ my notes out to me. If I require someone to do that, I think my parents can do it, because they are literate, thank you very much. And to the relevant department: YOU PAY THIS GUY A SALARY JUST TO READ NOTES? I'll show you how to get rich by washing toilets...

Oh, and before I forget, let me state that I WALKED OUT DURING THE VIDEO TO STUDY ECONS. (don't worry, I was just outside the LT between the 2 doors all the while, if that warrants demerit points, I have nothing much more to say)

And it has been a most fruitful hour for me, because I felt that my time is NOT wasted memorizing my NIA notes.

Ok, must end on a more un-serious tone. Got back H3 test today. And sigh... 49/50. Missed out on full marks due some little thing I didn't state down. Ok la, 49/50 sounds crazy to you, and you may think I'm crazy, but that's the expectation I set for myself la=) O yes, and THE LYQ (not the chem O champion) got full marks. Ta-da, 6K still owns!

Lastly, like father, like son. Like mother, like daughter. Like seniors, like juniors. 09S6K, you know what to do... jiayou! XD
