So...today...we had the STMP maths test at 8am at E205. Wasn't a pleasant experience.
Only 3 questions, but well, the integration questions were tough.
I kena for 2nd question...part i) they ask for dimensions when the area of that rectangle thingy is maximum..then right I NEVER read properly, give the maximum AREA instead. Part ii) right, my answer very weird, 8/75 or something liddat...which well is obv wrong.
3rd question. 4 integrations to perform. First two quite easy, (though our maths genius aka. SMO(J) individual first, couldn't integrate e^(x+e^x)xD). Last two were killer. Both required substitution. Part iv) i could do, but part iii) I got into a mess...substituted u=sqrt(x+1)...then what happen? Kena a weird integral still...so i try to salvage the situation...by attempting to integrate BY PARTS ! What happen? Get a complicated integral still...then no choice lar...time running out...wanted to do it AGAIN...then ran out of time...=(
*Oh...and Joel and I forgot to return the formula sheets....
