Greetings from a land afar

Hey everyone,

Yeah I'm in Korea wooooooh! It has rained intermittently 4 times since this morning, jeopardizing any plans to explore the market street next to the university. How disappointing. (We played cards - tai-di and bluff - with the Israelites (the group from Israel) at the dormitory lobby instead.)

Lunch and dinner were rather appetising; the latter more so than the former. Regardless of time or season, you can always expect the ubiquitous kimchi to materialise on your plate...

The hostel is pretty cool - in a rather literal sense. At least Johnny Raincloud made some good use of his prolonged excursion over the sky today, providing us with some thermodynamic relief from Singapore's scorching heat wave.

I shall post pretty photos once I upload them. Which should be soon, hopefully!

And now for a special feature:

Trans-national Haiku
I'm in South Korea.

Land of preserved vegetables.

They call it kimchi.
