NAPFA is over!!! yay! i got all As for NAPFA.. the last time i got 30 for NAPFA was in pri 6... hee hee i think all the previous trainings during pe lesson really helped. even the pe teacher at the standing broad jump station commented that our class can jump quite well..
anyway, it was quite funny to see the whole class stretching before the start of the 5 items.. from my past experience, last min stretches can be quite effective. oh ya.. i did a split (out of randomness) and yuqun (eugene) kept asking me to do it again.. sigh.
pull ups. apparently, the teacher at that station asked jianhua to stop when he did enough to get A. but he didnt stop and continued doing. hongxin on the other hand, did pull ups with one arm after he got A. trying to show off hor?? hee hee.. very pro la...
enough abt NAPFA.. math lecture today was ok.. mathematics behind beauty. love the part about golden ratio (phi) 1.618033988749895... maybe some of you will be interested to know that 5 ^ 0.5 X 0.5 + 0.5 will give the golden ratio.. try keying it into your cal :)
other interesting stuff abt phi: phi^2=1+phi as well as 1/phi=phi-1
hope that wasnt too technical.. oh ya, some 6k-ers played pick-up sticks after pe today.. c-rep was quite perturbed by it... and Complained that the welfare rep was not doing much abt class welfare.. oh well, apparently, the 6k-ers were enjoying themselves and the ct rep thinks that there is nothing wrong with playing pick-up sticks..
all right enough said. shall rest early for MATH TRAIL tmr.. happy ping pong ping pong ping for those going toa payoh tmr!!!
